Pampering ourselves

Went to Tampines Mall for dinner last night and realised that the Metro is closing down, and so it's having this massive 50%+30% sale storewide. So we went to have a walk after dinner to see if we could get any good bargain.

Headed straight for the household section, which was the second on the list, since my first which are shoes and bags were a strict forewarned no-no by the husband before we stepped into Metro. Anyway, second best things to buy at sales are bedsheets, pillows, any other bulky household items. I'm sure most aunties would totally agree with me.

So, we went in search for new pillows as the current ones had been faithfully with us for the past 1 year and a half or so. Another reason being that I didn't want to sleep on the same pillow full of my own germs. Hah.

Anyway, we came across this particular latex contour pillow by Jean Perry, which apparently, seems kind of branded for bedroom stuff. It felt very soft and comfy. The husband was very tempted to buy. Original price for one = $159. After the 50%+30% discount = $55.65.

So, after much consideration, we decided to pamper ourselves and bought the most expensive pillow ever in my life.

Besides the two expensive head resters, we also bought a couple of other stuff, including one so-called mico-gel bolster. Spent a whopping total of $213.
