This is an addition to the post I did yesterday about the blackout for 1 hour. After asking around opinions and going through various forums, I realised that the article yesterday was kind of misleading and didn't explain fully what the campaign is really about. Maybe the writer him/herself is not really sure about it either.
Anyway, thanks to some forummers, Earth Hour, is actually a voluntary, but strongly encouraged campaign to save the Earth, on each of our parts. Whether we want to switch off our lights, fan, air-cons, computers, TV, etc... for 1 hour on 29th Mar 2008, it's entirely up to the individual household. Somehow, it didn't seemed as bad as it sounded when I first read the article.
